Movie Review: The Liability

A vicious Scottish ganglord asks his girlfriend's teenage son (Jack O'Connell) to accompany Roy, a deadly assassin (Tim Roth), on a hit job on the Northumberland coast. Roy wants to get it over with quickly and join his daughter on her wedding day, but the job gets messed up, partly because of the teen's bungling. Roy now needs to take care of both his assistant, and the very attractive girl (Talulah Riley) who stumbles upon them while they are hacking the hands off the murder victim.

The movie is enjoyable because of Tim Roth's effortless portrayal, in his very special style, and the beautiful Talulah, but it doesn't really take off full steam, and before you know it, it's over - leaving you hungry for more.
