Movie Review: Cabin In The Woods

5 college kids set off in an RV for an exciting weekend at a remote cabin in the woods. Playing a game of truth and dare or take off your clothes, they end up in a basement with some really wierd toys... unaware that their choices will decide how they die! Their libido quickly evaporates into terror as their cabin is attacked by zombies, as they realize they are simply pawns in a terrible game of cat and mouse - are they involuntary participants in a dangerous reality TV show, or is this something even worse? While three of the friends are killed, the surviving two must take a decision that will decide the fate of humanity.

The movie starts off in very familiar territory - a rejigged version of the countless movies of the genre - hormone-stuffed pretty kids, a remote location, a broken-down convenience store and a scary clerk, and lots of blood and gore. It's the end that really takes off into space...

Not too bad, actually, if you are a fan of the genre. And yes, watch out for the gorgeous Kristen Connolly as Dana.
