Movie Review: The Brass Teapot

A young couple struggles to make ends meet in a small town, when they chance upon a beautiful brass teapot with a strange power... everytime you get hurt, it dispenses crispy notes! Is it the answer to their prayers, or is it something much more sinister, as the chinese professor tries to convince them?

Initially, it's simple enough - a kick to the door, a little warming of hands on the gas - and the teapot spews out hundreds of dollars in green crispies. But as their hunger for money grows, the teapot seems to start losing its power, and more drastic actions are called for. Black and bruised, the couple quickly realizes it can also work when others are hurt, and not just physically, but also emotionally. They quickly find themselves being consumed by an insatiable urge that brings out the worst in them as humans... will they be able to resist the temptations of the teapot before they become slaves to it?

Based on a book by the same name, this is a delightful movie with wonderful performances by Michael Angarano and the hot and sexy Juno Temple in the lead roles.

Watch it on Bluray if you can... the visuals are stunning.
