India 4 Sri Lanka 1

With a comprehensive win in the last match, India wrapped up the series 4-1 (taking it to 7-2 with one drawn match against the Lankans this year), and are now placed at No 2 in the world.

Rahane finally got the match in the series, but only managed 9 off 17. Rohit Sharma, who has steadfastedly kept his place in the team in spite of a non-consequential single digit average, got yet another chance (Sehwag was rested for Rahane), and failed once again, managing only 4. Interestingly, Zaheer played the match today, even though he was wildly expected to be rested to give his 33 year old body a rest ahead of the busy Test season coming up. Umesh Yadav sat out once again.

How long before we grab No 1 again?
