ICL?

Just curious... has anyone here watched the ICL?

Compared to the thrill and excitement behind the IPL, the ICL does feel like a damp squib. Is this only because the BCCI didn't back the ICL? Or something else?

Partly yes, since BCCI didn't back (or rather boycotted it), most players don't opt for it! They lose the chance of not being selected for the Indian team (and now IPL). So it consists of the rejects. And in most cases, cricket is watched for the stars and not for the game itself. :)

There are a few I know who watch it. And they watch it as they love the game and don't mind whether the players are stars.

I've tried watching and yes, though I like cricket (with/without stars), after a time it seems dull as I can't relate to them as I've to keep looking up the players names. Maybe should be patient to get to know them all :)
